Since day one we are a remote company. That means people are working where they want and define their work environment as they want. Each team member has a monthly budget to manage his own place, office, and set up as they want. As a distributed team, it is also important to create real moments: each quarter we take time to see each other during a retreat and visit the world.
Our mission is simple: connecting people through meaningful relationships. But it is always hard to design something simple. At Magma, we are obsessed on create the simplest experience to meet someone new and discover a new organization. We build what we think will truly matter, build something people want.
Working at Magma means a lot of autonomy and ownership. Each member is leading his role, perimeter, and decision to drive their goals. We are all involved in the company but at the end of the day, you have to take the right decision. It is a lot of responsibilities but it is the price to pay for freedom.
Now, more than 250 000 people are sailing into our candidate experience each month. We want to build something with a lot of impact and for us, that means being available on each website, and each candidate experience across the world. Each day millions of people are looking for discovering and onboarding into a new area through an application form. This is the target we have to achieve.
